BLOGTOBER #11: The Autumn Tag

So surprisingly enough, I’ve actually been nominated twice for this tag. Once by Nicole from northernirishgirlonline.com and also by Georgia from thecovetedlifstyle.com and I’d like to say a HUGE thank you to both of them for letting me join in!

They’re both amazing bloggers and I really enjoy taking part in tags so I’m super appreciative of them both for nominating me! Please go and check them out sometime during your time on this post.

Let’s get cracking with the post then:

What signifies the start of Autumn for you?

To me, it’s when you can start to feel the chill in the air. During the Summer nights, I can stay out until gone 11 o’clock with just a jumper on and not be that cold, but with Autumn coming in it tends to get colder a lot faster in the evenings.

I love stepping out in the morning to the chilly fresh air. It wakes me up a lot faster.

What is your favourite Autumn scent?

I love the smell of cinnamon and gingerbread. I know these may be classed as more “wintery” scents but when the weather gets colder I love putting these flavoured syrups in my coffees and the smell of the coffee after that is just amazing!

What is you favourite Autumn colour?

I love the oranges and browns that come out in nature with all of the leaves changing colours. With my auburn hair, I really feel at home!

Are you a fan of a PSL (pumpkin spice latte) ?

I’ve never actually tried one! I’ve only started drinking coffee this year so I’ll definitely have to try one before they stop selling them just so I can see for myself what all of the fuss is about.

What is your favourite Autumn drink?

I love a latte with flavoured syrups in it, like I mentioned earlier. My favourites at the minute are gingerbread and caramel.

What’s your favourite coffee shop and their drink of choice?

I’d probably have to say Starbucks and their Mango Frappe. I know this is a cold drink but there are times where I just crave one because they’re so nice.

Apple pie or Pumpkin pie?

Neither. Can I choose some kind of chocolate pie instead?

What TV show, new or old are you looking forward to in the next few months?

I’m definitley looking forward to Season 3 of Riverdale and Daredevil which are out soon. I’m also super excited to see what the new “Sabrina” series is going to be like too. All of which are on Netflix!

What is your favourite Autumn fashion trend?

The big, warm, woolly jumpers. I’ve bought a few new ones this year and I’m basically living in them.

What is your favourite comfort food to enjoy in the colder months?

Anything with gravy on it. I could drink my Mum’s gravy, it’s sooo good.

What is your favourite Autumn activity?

Pumpkin carving, of course.

Are you a fan of horror movies?

Not really but sometimes I do feel brave enough to watch them, but I could never watch one on my own.

Do you ever do anything fun for Halloween?

I love Halloween baking and pumpkin carving and I’m already trying to plan when to do them this year! I also like going for walks with us all wrapped up warm.

What was your favourite part about Halloween as a child?

The dressing up, for sure. I don’t really do it much anymore so I enjoy looking back on it.

Are you a bigger fan of Bonfire night or Halloween?

I think I enjoy them both the same. I love how for Bonfire night my family and our friends get together because that’s what makes it for me. But I love everything that surrounds Halloween and the build up the weeks before it. It feels like much more of a celebration because of that.

Where is your dream destination to visit in the Autumn?

I’d love to visit a European city like Stolkholm or Paris. Somewhere where the food is great and the fashion is at its best.

Do you always forget about the clocks going back?

Yes, all of the time. I’m just thankful that my phone does it automatically!

When do you usually start preparing for Christmas?

I’ve already started to plan different gifts for different people as I don’t like rushing at the end. But I’ve not bought anything yet because I feel like it’s still a bit too soon for it all to start, especially because Halloween hasn’t happened yet.

Hopefully you enjoyed my answers but now it’s time for me to nominated some more bloggers to take part!

The 5 bloggers I would like to nominate are:

1. PeachPaaige

2. Sadiye

3. Lorna

4. Beth

5. Vinny

Good Luck guys!

Thanks for reading my latest post!

Love you all x
